About Seal Rock State Park
Seal Rock State Park is home to beautiful rock formations and tons of marine wildlife. It’s an excellent place to see sea lions, seals, and birds, among other marine animals, while exploring the tide pools. The off-shore rock formations, with the largest formations being named “Castle,” “Tourist,” and “Elephant.” These formations have been part of the park since 1928.
Things to See
Among the beautiful ocean views and breathtaking towers of stone, you’ll find hiking trails and other opportunities for exploring the area throughout the park. Take an afternoon to climb some of the old-growth trees in the area or enjoy the “Wolf Experience.” This park is just a short distance from Crate Lake, so there are plenty of other places to see in this incredible destination.
