Shasta has announced that they will begin manufacturing a throw-back Airflyte that is reminiscent of the early 60’s heyday of RVing. In a limited release, Shasta will re-create the iconic 1961 Airflyte that put them on the map for RV manufacturing. They’ll be complete with the Shasta wings and available in all 3 original colors and available in 16′ and 19′ models. Here are the specs for each of them.
Shasta 16′ Airflyte
This Shasta 16 Airflyte reissue travel trailer is ready for any adventure you find yourself on. You will love the vintage appeal with all the original detailing of 1961.
Inside find a 54″ dinette in front with overhead cabinets that sport the same detailing. The 32″ table folds down at night to easily make into a sleeping space for two.
There is a refrigerator to the left of the entrance and a three burner cook-top opposite along with a single sink and counter space with storage overhead for dishes and things. There is also more storage beneath the counter-top including a few drawers.
The rear left corner features a wet bath with toilet and shower. There is also a pantry in the far back corner for more dry good storage needs. Across the rear find a gaucho seating pullout with storage above for plenty of seating and sleeping space at night, plus so much more!
Shasta 19′ Airflyte
This Shasta reissue model 19 Airfltye features everything you need to enjoy spending time on the road. With this throwback model you will soon be turning heads all through the camp ground!
Step inside and see just how convenient camping can be. There is a dinette in front with 54″ seating along with a 32″ table. This make a great place to enjoy your meals at, and also can easily become sleeping space for two.
The refrigerator is to the left of the door as you enter and will keep all of your perishables cold and fresh. There is also a pantry next door for your dry food storage needs. Across the room find a three burner cook-top and microwave oven, plus a single sink and counter space for food prep and cleaning up. The overhead cabinets are perfect for stowing away all of your dishes and things.
There is a convenient wet bath with shower and toilet just beyond the pantry along the curb side.
The rear of this Airflyte provides ample seating with a gaucho pullout across the back wall, and a second one along the road side just beyond the cook-top. There are overhead cabinets the entire width of this unit for all of your things, and so much more!
