Make a Routine and Stick to It

When I was first getting started working from home, it was incredibly difficult to stay focused, especially when there were all sorts of household chores to take care of and a kid who wanted my attention. One of the best things my husband and I did to make working from home work for us was to establish a routine for the workweek and stick to it. Knowing what your workday is going to look like can help make it more manageable and help you complete tasks.

Make Sure You Have Reliable Internet by Having Multiple Sources

Another problem we ran into early on just had stable internet for work. We’ve found that our mobile hotspots work exceptionally well; however, it’s not always reliable depending on the campground. Try to have multiple sources for your internet or plan to spend a lot of time in local coffee shops.

Give Yourself a Dedicated Workspace

Another way to greatly improve your productivity and give yourself the best chance for success is to have a dedicated workspace. You’ll want to set up a desk area with a comfortable chair and plenty of space for your computer, phone, notepads, and more.

You Might Want to Work Weekends

Traveling during the weekends isn’t ideal, which is why having a job that allows you to pick your workdays is great! If you travel during the week or visit your favorite must-see attractions at your destination on weekdays. Then you can spend the weekends catching up on work while avoiding the crowds.

Set Goals for Yourself Instead of Working by the Hour

One of the best things about working remotely is that you can set your own hours, and you don’t have to work a 40-hour work week to meet your goals. Sure, in the beginning, you might have to put in more hours to get yourself off the ground, but getting set up long-term with remote work is a great way to free up more time in your weekly schedule.
