RV Recipe: Slow Cooker Bites

  • 1 package Ball Park Beef Franks
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil
  • 1 bottle barbecue sauce, your choice
  • ¾ c. brown sugar
  • ¾ c. bourbon
  • 1 small onion
  • ½ c. water

Instructions

  1. Peel and finely dice the onion.
  2. Slice Ballpark franks into 1″ pieces. Each hotdog should make about six or seven pieces.
  3. In a large skillet, heat a drizzle of oil over medium-high heat.
  4. Sauté the hotdogs until browned, approximately 3 minutes, stirring frequently.
  5. In your slow cooker, combine BBQ sauce, brown sugar, bourbon, the onion, and water. Whisk the mixture until thoroughly combined.
  6. Add the hotdogs to the slow cooker and stir to coat.
  7. Cook on low for 2-3 hours and serve hot!
