Beautiful scenery, fun festivals and most importantly family friendly activities that bring everyone together about this time of year.

New Jersey Botanical Gardens

Located on 96 gorgeous acres, the New Jersey Botanical Gardens offer you and the kids a spectacular view of gorgeous flowers and lovely scenery. April 1-15 boasts beautiful yellow daffodils and forsythias, while April 15-30 you can catch photo worthy cherry blossoms that you’ll Be amazed by.

Cherry Blossom Festival at Branch Brook Park

This family friendly festival runs for ten days and offers bike rides, a 5k, 10k, photography workshop and Japanese cultural celebrations. You will want to bring your camera for this festival that offers tons of photo ops.

Wildlife Watching

New Jersey offers a wide array of state parks that span a variety of terrains. Whether in the hills or plains, you will absolutely love the range of wildlife that makes an appearance during the spring season. If you’ve got a soft spot for baby animals you will particularly love the baby ducks, deer and birds. In fact, head out during sunrise and sunset with binoculars for a close up view of animals in their natural habitat.
