The first thing you need to do is get a charge on your RV’s battery. Make sure the battery charger is turned off and connect it to your RV’s battery. Once you’ve adjust the battery charger’s voltage to the correct setting, turn it on, and let your RV battery start charging.
Flush the System
Flush out the system with fresh water! Connect your RV’s water hookup with a garden hose and open all the faucets in your RV. When you turn on the hose, it’ll start flushing system. Use this time to also flush the toilets to clear any antifreeze as well. Let the faucets run about ten minutes or until the water runs clear. While you’re running water through the lines, start washing the windows as well!
Hook Up the Propane
Remount your propane tanks. Pull those tanks out of storage and place them back on the tank mounts. You’ll want to reattach the propane hoses as instructed by your particular RV’s make and model.
Start dreaming now of great camping trips this year using your outdoor kitchen cooktops! You’ll also want to make sure that your propane lines have no leaks, so check them at this time to make sure they’re in good shape. Drain the RV’s grey, black, and fresh water tanks at a certified dump station and prep with fresh water. Finally, throw open the RV windows on a day when you’ve got a good breeze and plenty of sunshine to air out the storage smells of winter.
