RVers are a different breed. We love getting to a campsite and setting up our RVs for a long weekend or a extended vacation. To others who have never owned a house on wheels, it may seem foreign to them, maybe even a little weird, but we live for it! There’s nothing like setting up, pulling your slides out, and making your campsite your home. But that’s not all we love! We love the journey there, too! There’s just something about the open road that makes us want to keep finding destinations to visit and new parks to explore. Those hours on the road can be trying if you’ve got an uncomfortable and poorly made motorhome. It becomes more of a chore, than an experience. Coachmen RV manufactured the Freelander to help change your mind about the way a motorhome should be. Read our Freelander review to discover what makes this motorhome a well-built machine that makes RVing a journey and not just a destination.
Superior Construction
Every Freelander motorhome is built with quality in mind. That’s why Coachmen uses a laminated steel 2″ framed floor, vacuum-bonded laminated aluminum 2″ framed sidewalls, and a vacuum-bonded laminated aluminum crowned framed roof. They know that your motorhome can on be as good as the walls around you. Coachmen also uses Azdel composite sidewalls to reduce the weight of your RV, increase your motorhome’s water resistance and reduce damage caused by stray limbs and anything else that may puncture your sidewalls. Adding to the high quality construction, Coachmen included color infused, high gloss exterior fiberglass sidewalls, and running boards and fender skirts to enhance the look and feel of your motorhome. You’ll be hard pressed to find a better built machine to take down the highway to your favorite vacation spot.

Floorplans
If you’re looking for a motorhome to get away for a weekend with just a couple of people or want to bring along the family and guests then there’s a floorplan for you! With 10 configurations to choose from, you’ll more than likely find exactly what you’re looking for with the number of people you’ve got in mind. The smaller ones, built on a Ford 350 chassis are great for 2-4 people, while the models built on the Chevy 4500 chassis could house up to 7-8 people! That’s a big chunk of your family and friends under one roof.
Standard Features
To make you feel more at home Coachmen has spared no expense and provided you with all of the features you need to live and enjoy your vacation without any sort of worry. After all, who wants to worry when they’re on vacation? Appointments such as a 50 gallon fresh water tank, residential style hardwood cabinet doors and drawers, slideout awnings, tinted radius slider windows and privacy glass shower doors are just a few examples of how they deliver quality to you.
