cape may, new jersey

There’s a few things in life that I’ll never get tired of. One of them is RVing. Another one is spending time on the beach. What can I say? I’m a beach bum. Living here in New Jersey, I’m lucky enough to be within driving distance of the water and can make a trip out there when I get a day off. But I have to tell you, the beaches and the sunset in Cape May are top notch. At just over an hour-long drive from our Turnersville location, I recommend Cape May for any RVer who wants to get away and enjoy nature and the beach. Beautiful landscapes and scenery is everywhere you look and it’s something you’ll never get used to. There’s a reason Cape May is an RVers dream.

Beautiful Beaches

Cape May is home to some of the most amazing beaches in the United States, if not the world! Poverty Beach, Higbee Beach, any of them will take your breath away and you won’t want to leave. If you’re into water sports, you can rent jet skis and take them out on the seas for some adventure. Parasailing, skydiving, charter fishing boats, you name it, it’s there. You’ll never run out of things to do when you decide to park your RV in Cape May.

Golfer’s Paradise

Cape May is home to several championship golf courses and for the golf lover in your family, they’ll enjoy getting out on the links and playing some of the best courses in the country! Whether is the nine hole Pines at Claremont or the world renowned Wildwood course, you’ll definitely love spending time on these fantastic courses.

Rollercoasters and Waterparks

If you’re looking for more adventure, you can always take a trip to Morey’s Piers & Beachfront Waterparks. The throwback style of amusement parks is a refreshing adventure, meant to put a smile on yours and your kids faces. There’s plenty of rides, water-based and not, to keep everyone happy and want to come back the next day.

Wineries

Within a short drive from Cape May are 4 wineries that are just waiting for you to check out. For the wine-lover in you, it’s always a pleasure to see where your favorite wines are made. When you get here, expect to enjoy a glass of your favorite wine around a fine and enjoy the scenic views of Cape May that surrounds you.

Next time you’re considering coming out to the East Coast, be sure and consider Cape May for your RV vacation. There are plenty of RV parks and some of them within walking distance to the water! Experience New Jersey like it should be. On the beach with your family around, enjoying the sunset, local cuisine and everything it has to offer.
